Senior Project Engineer, Audio Visual Systems - LA at AMA Group Our Los Angeles office is looking for an experienced Audio Visual Systems Designer. Your title will be Senior Project Engineer within the company. With guidance and mentorship from senior engineers you will develop project management skills. This is a hands-on role offering an opportunity to be part of a growing, industry-leading team. This role is a career development position; you will perform work assignments of increasing complexity and contribute to team objectives and outcomes. Role Responsibilities

Ability to develop audiovisual design requirements by meeting with clients, discussing requirements, and working with internal design team Design and coordinate with architectural and engineering disciplines of audio/video systems for boardrooms, collaboration rooms, huddle spaces, town hall venues, conference rooms, and multipurpose rooms Develop 2D and 3D drawings for architectural layouts of AV equipment, and system schematic diagrams Organize and lead coordination meetings and take detailed meeting minutes Requirements

Education: Bachelors in Engineering or related discipline. CTS certification a plus Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience with AV design, planning and project management Expertise with video and audio-conferencing systems Working knowledge of key AV products from major manufacturers (e.g., Crestron, Extron, BiAmp, QSC, Shure, Poly, Cisco, and others) Experience with Crestron and other control system design (control logic development and touch panel design) Working knowledge of computer networks as they pertain to IP-based AV signal transport and UC-based conferencing Expertise with sound systems, including microphone and speaker requirements and integration in acoustic environments Experience in developing RFPs and managing resources Advanced AutoCAD and Revit knowledge AVIXA CTS/CTS-D a plus; manufacturer-sponsored certifications are advantageous Familiarity with rendering software/Photoshop for presentations is a significant advantage Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project) Who We Are
