Media & Analyst Relations Lead role at ZS. The Marketing and Communications team helps build the ZS brand, champion thought leadership, support business development and inform, engage, and inspire current and future ZS people. In collaboration with Marketing and Communications and subject matter experts, the Analyst and Media Relations Lead ensures analysts understand ZS’s vision, strategy, capabilities, solutions and products to influence their research and opinions in support of company goals. This role also supports media relations efforts in conjunction with our agency and Senior Media & Analyst Relations Associate. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, market knowledge, and the ability to strategically manage relationships with key analysts and internal stakeholders to achieve analyst engagement and media presence. What You’ll Do
Help develop and execute a comprehensive analyst relations strategy that aligns with ZS’s corporate objectives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry analysts from firms such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and Everest. Coordinate and facilitate analyst interactions (inquiries, briefings, presentations) to educate analysts on ZS’s vision, strategy, differentiators, offerings and competitive positioning. Collaborate with SMEs, internal teams, and AR agency to craft messaging and storylines that crisply deliver ZS’s narrative in resonance with analyst research and reports. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive developments to provide valuable insights to analysts and internal stakeholders. Track and measure the effectiveness of analyst relations activities and their impact on analyst coverage and perception of the firm. Cultivate advocacy among analysts by identifying opportunities for them to endorse or promote ZS’s products and services. What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field. Proven experience in analyst relations, especially within the technology or consulting industry. Strong knowledge of industry analysts, their methodologies, and their impact on the technology sector. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, and meet competing deadlines. Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable insights. Strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on quality and attention to detail. Results-oriented with a focus on achieving positive outcomes through analyst relationships.
