The technology currently removes the equivalent of 100,000 cars’ worth of carbon emissions from the road each year. Responsibilities

Lead the HR & Recruiting function at Runwise and serve as a key advisor to leadership on organizational growth. Manage and develop a team of 2 recruiters (including a Principal Recruiter) and 1 office manager/scheduler, and create the organizational roadmap for future HR team growth. Partner with the Principal Recruiter on talent strategy, workforce planning, and recruiting execution to attract top-tier talent as the company scales. Design and implement scalable recruiting processes, tools, and systems to strengthen the candidate pipeline and improve hiring efficiency. Own the development, implementation, and evolution of Runwise’s benefits program, including negotiating with brokers for health insurance and other offerings. Manage the current PEO relationship and evaluate long-term HRIS platform options to support scaling. Ensure compliance with labor laws across jurisdictions and keep policies current with national and local requirements. Manage employee records and policies with processes and audits for employment law updates. Provide project management, operational, technology, and analytical support across compensation, benefits, performance management, engagement, and recruiting. Lead and evolve the performance management strategy and use data to evaluate recruiting funnels, HR initiatives, and benefits usage. Act as a culture carrier, embedding Runwise values in hiring, onboarding, and employee development. Qualifications

7+ years of experience in HR with a strong blend of benefits expertise and recruiting/talent acquisition leadership. Experience managing and developing recruiting teams and collaborating with business leaders on workforce planning. Direct experience negotiating and administering health insurance and other benefit programs with brokers. Proven track record building and scaling recruiting strategies in high-growth environments and designing processes that attract top talent across multiple functions. Experience managing PEO relationships and evaluating/building HRIS platforms for scaling organizations. Strong knowledge of compliance and multi-jurisdictional labor laws with policy development experience. Data-driven mindset with ability to leverage metrics to improve HR and recruiting outcomes. Strong leadership and coaching abilities and capacity to design future org structure. Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust across all levels of the company. Salary: $175,000-$250,000 (experience-dependent) Location: In-office role in NoMad, New York City; 4 days a week in person. Benefits
