We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a proven track record of managing complex projects valued at $50M+ for a diverse range of clients in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role offers the chance to lead a variety of high-impact projects across the Bay Area, from San Francisco through the Peninsula, extending down to San Jose. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit, thrives in a client-facing, seller/doer role, and can balance project delivery with business development. Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost. Value engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring material substitutions are equivalent. Manage on-site project stakeholders and communicate client goals to the project team. Prepare Project Management Plan and fee budget/proposal at project outset. Evaluate documents and convey the client’s goals and expectations to all project team members. Develop and communicate action plans to guide the project team from the initial Project Management Plan onward. Re-evaluate contract scope as the project progresses and recommend adjustments to meet client needs. Coordinate with cost management for cost estimates, cost studies, actual cost reviews, and budget reconciliation. Organize and maintain project documentation and records. Drive the permitting process and ensure timely submission of documents to local, state, and federal agencies. Ensure design management aligns with budget, scope, schedule, and client design standards. Prepare cost and revenue projections; perform constructability reviews. Lead design management, procurement strategies, construction, fit-out, and closeout. Negotiate contracts and claims; manage budget development and oversight. Lead larger, more complex projects and effectively delegate tasks to the project management team. Oversee entitlement processes for unoccupied sites to obtain appropriate zoning. Lead project procedures and processes for project execution. Other duties as assigned and attendance during normal business hours. Knowledge & Skills

Experience planning, managing, and coordinating all aspects of projects, scope, and cost for multiple projects. Ability to monitor and re-evaluate scope and adjust as necessary; collaborate with cost management for estimates and budget reconciliation. Experience with Value Engineering; strong written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of how your role contributes to organizational goals and ability to deliver quality work while upholding core values. Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with peers, leaders, and clients; dependable and thorough with a proactive approach to self-development. Ability to work effectively with teams and clients in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience

Education: BS in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field. Experience: 6+ years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management. Experience managing Life Science or Healthcare projects is preferred. Preferred Certifications: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED. Compensation and Benefits

Salary: The salary range for this full-time role is $120,900.00-$161,233.35 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only and not the total compensation package.
