Systems Integration Engineer, Air Vehicles

The Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineering Team is responsible for designing and integrating advanced hardware for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. What You'll Do Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of avionics and mission systems within aircraft. Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for secondary structures and system components. Conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs against performance requirements and regulatory standards. Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production. Lead design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, define and execute hardware test plans. Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers as needed. Travel to test sites as needed. Required Qualifications B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5+ years experience in aircraft systems integration. Siemens NX proficiency. Excellent communication and team skills. Familiarity with aircraft and military standards. Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications PLM experience (Teamcenter, Windchill). Active Top secret DoD clearance. Unmanned Air Vehicle design experience. US Salary Range: $129,000—$171,000 USD.
