Description
Due to continuing growth, our team is seeking a Senior Tax Manager who has an entrepreneurial spirit and knows how to get things done. In addition to traditional tax review and client advisory responsibilities, the role requires entrepreneurship, strategy, and management skills. We rely heavily on local leadership in each office to develop and execute the firm's vision.

Platform Accounting Group is a rapidly growing professional services firm providing tax, accounting, assurance, IT consulting, and wealth management services to small and medium-sized businesses and their owners. Responsibilities include:
Leading and managing the local team in collaboration with the firm's Director.
Being a primary contact for clients from retiring partners.
Managing relationships with new clients.
Developing and executing growth initiatives, products, services, and operational strategies with the executive team and Director.
Reviewing and managing tax return engagements for individuals, businesses (C-corps, S-corps, partnerships), and trusts.
Leading consulting and advisory efforts in the region.
Leading staff in research, training, and development activities.
Qualifications:
7-12 years of experience in preparing and reviewing various tax returns.
Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
CPA or EA certification required.
Experience managing staff and client relationships.
Excellent communication and management skills.
Proprietor mentality and strong work ethic.
Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in strategy and operations.
