Responsibilities and duties related to producing sales gains, providing customer service, achieving company objectives, evaluating and documenting sales performance, applying visual merchandising guidelines, and maintaining professional appearance in accordance with policy. Responsibilities and Principal Duties
Produce sales gains by providing customer service. Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics. Provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate’s sales performance and offer feedback in line with Company Objectives. Adhere to current visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy. Control and Operational Duties
Protect Company assets within guidelines of LIDS Retail policies. Assist in preparing store schedules within wage-control guidelines. Manage store inventory processes including receiving, transferring, price changes, and product counts. Perform proper documentation and record keeping per LIDS Retail policies and state/federal laws. Open and close the store as required following Operations policies and procedures. Support and adhere to all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines. Additional Principal Duties
Supervise Associates; participate in LIDS Training Programs and adhere to goals for sales and tasks. Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures. Encourage compliance with company policies and safekeeping of inventory, funds, and property. Perform work of subordinates as needed and communicate with employees at all levels. Other duties as assigned. Job Required Knowledge & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent plus one year relative experience. Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss. Strong interpersonal skills and clear verbal communication. Ability to operate a computer and related software. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders and work overhead; standing up to 100% of the time; ability to work unsupervised. Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills
Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Assistant Store Managers PT are also eligible for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount. Education
