As a Regional Director of Dining Services, you will establish and communicate dining and service standards to meet company goals and mission across all communities in the assigned region(s). The individual in this role will organize, manage, and coordinate the daily functions for the dining service departments at each community, as well as the team members who carry out these functions. The Regional Director of Dining Services creates and provides training and follow-up to ensure delivery of excellent service, hospitality and quality food for a first-rate resident and guest dining experience. Do You Have What It Takes?
A fire and passion for working with seniors A flexible, fun, and energetic personality High school diploma, or equivalent, required; Culinary Certificate or Degree preferred A minimum of five (5) years of culinary and multi-unit dining management experience required Knowledge of customer and personal services principles, including needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective preparation and distribution of goods Ability to modify menus focused on nutrition, seasonal preference, budget constraints, and presentation resulting in high resident satisfaction Ability to manage and counsel team dynamic, inventory, safety, cleanliness, budget, and expenses Strong palate to understand exemplary meals; excellent technical skills with knives/tools, kitchen equipment, cooking and presentation ServeSafe Certificate Current driver\'s license Proficient in Microsoft Office; including Word and Excel Must possess general computer skills for communication and planning requirements Understands and displays proper food safety procedures, cooking temperatures, sanitation of kitchen and equipment and storage techniques and temperature Ability and willingness to travel; must also be ready to travel unexpectedly as needed Professional image in both appearance and behavior Excellent written and oral communication skills Why is Tutera THE Employer of Choice?
