Project & Warranty Coordinator (Custom Homes)
Artisan Builders is seeking a Project & Warranty Coordinator to manage homeowner warranty requests, oversee permitting, and support project managers with documentation and closeout. This pivotal role ensures our records stay accurate, our projects run smoothly, and our homeowners receive the exceptional service that defines Artisan Builders. At Artisan Builders, we specialize in designing and building luxury custom homes ranging from 8,000 to 12,000 square feet in McLean, Virginia. As a family-owned business, we are committed to superior craftsmanship, innovation, and an outstanding client experience. Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for homeowners after closeout. Intake, track, and schedule warranty requests with superintendents and trade partners. Maintain homeowner contact details and warranty logs in Buildertrend. Permitting: Submit and track residential permits with municipalities. Pay and monitor permit fees; keep an active status sheet updated. Attend weekly permit meetings with the internal team. Project Documentation & Closeout: Maintain accurate project data in Buildertrend, including contact info and work request notes. Prepare warranty boxes and closeout materials for homeowners. Support project managers with organized records and timely updates. Cross-Department Support: Coordinate with accounting (AP) to ensure proper job cost coding. Communicate with marketing/web vendors if project updates are needed.
