Major Duties Review of monthly fund and business entity closing summaries.
Report and analyze financial data to be disseminated to clients and their investors.
Close monthly books and records of the funds to general final performance figures.
Interact with clients and other Hedge Fund Services teams to understand fund activities.
Prepare financial statements for funds.
Work directly with external auditors to ensure accuracy of each fund’s annual financial statements.
Assist in building a high-performance team through learning, development, mentoring and recruiting.
Operate independently with in-depth knowledge of the business unit / function.
As subject area expert, provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to the team and partners at a high technical level.
Cary out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult.
Balance high level operational execution and development with execution of strategic direction of business function activities.
Strategic development, implementation and administration of programs within functional areas.
Knowledge Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
In-depth functional / industry knowledge is required.
Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
Experience Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g., Peoplesoft) are required.
A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred. Related industry qualification (e.g., ACCA) is preferred.
Salary Range
$83,100 - 141,300 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits, health and welfare benefits, paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. A discretionary bonus program may include an equity component.
