Product Manager, Messaging Channels Innovation

Netflix is seeking a Product Manager to drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for messaging channels innovation and delivery. The role focuses on personalization and expanding messaging channels to inform and engage members as Netflix grows into live events/content, gaming and other new initiatives. Location: this role is based in our Los Gatos (preferred) or Los Angeles office in a hybrid model, but we are open to remote candidates on the West Coast. Travel to Los Gatos and Los Angeles will be required. Responsibilities

Understand deeply Netflix’s broader business context and priorities, and identify new opportunities for messaging channel innovation. Drive the vision, strategy, and priorities for a cross-functional team, balancing near- and long-term ROI across responsibility areas. Build durable metrics and monitoring systems to continuously measure channel health and performance. Continuously scan industry landscapes and trends and bring new ideas to the team. Identify opportunities for improving message delivery across channels, including channel health, IP reputation, and deliverability. Shape thinking on how to evolve messaging and member experience to have a broad impact on how members enjoy Netflix. What we offer

Who will be successful in this role

Combine a highly analytical background with strong product sense, depth of thinking, and excellent communication skills to define, explain, and execute a vision. Drive meaningful and measurable impact on established products and spearhead industry-leading innovations. Prefer experimentation to validate hypotheses while interpreting results with healthy skepticism. Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data science, other PMs, business teams) and drive product outcomes. Demonstrate bias toward action and independently rally cross-functional teams to move projects forward quickly. Communicate complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences and tailor messaging to drive outcomes. Raise the bar on product craft across the Netflix product community. Strong consumer product experience is required; expertise in messaging and notifications is a plus. Skills

10+ years of experience managing consumer products with a growth orientation and a track record of launching impactful products. Ownership mindset for driving step-function impact. Expertise in developing long-range visions, strategy, and roadmaps for cross-functional spaces with business context. Leadership experience with engineering, design, data science, consumer insights, and business stakeholders. Expertise in experimentation and analysis to uncover deeper stories. Track record of driving innovation with external ecosystem partners. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for senior audiences. Compensation and Benefits

Generally, compensation is an annual salary with no bonuses. The range for this role is $240,000 - $725,000. Netflix uses market indicators and the candidate’s background to determine compensation within the market range.
