Director, Assembly & Test Operations

Beehive Industries . This role will be located at our Englewood, Colorado facility. What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership & Scaling: Lead the strategic planning and execution for transitioning from low-rate development to high-rate production; build and implement the operational capabilities and infrastructure necessary to support full-scale manufacturing for final assembly and test; develop and refine assembly and test processes to optimize for efficiency, quality, and scalability. Operational Management: Direct all final assembly and engine test activities for both development and production units, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and production schedules; lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, technicians, and assemblers with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement; manage departmental budgets, resources, and staffing to meet aggressive development and production goals. Process & Quality Control: Ensure all assembly and test operations comply with AS9100 quality management systems and other relevant standards; collaborate with Quality to implement and monitor quality control measures; drive a culture of safety, quality, and accountability from development to production. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Manufacturing Operations to ensure seamless handoffs of parts aligned with program schedules; collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program Management to ensure smooth design-to-delivery transitions; troubleshoot and resolve engine assembly/testing issues for both development and production teams. You have
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or operations subject Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations leadership role, with at least 5 years in gas turbine engine manufacturing, assembly and/or testing Experience scaling manufacturing operations from development to production Proven experience leading a technical team Deep technical knowledge of gas turbine engine manufacturing, assembly processes, and performance testing Experience with AS9100 or similar quality management systems Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. U.S. Citizenship required for clearance eligibility Skills

Salary range: $216,000-$240,000 base pay. Beehive Industries offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life, short- and long-term disability; a 401(k) plan with company match; and equity in the company. All roles are bonus eligible. Equal Opportunity
