Senior Project Manager - Highway, CM/PM Services

to lead high-impact infrastructure projects and shape the future of transportation in Illinois. This on-site position will be based in Mt Prospect, Illinois. This is your opportunity to move beyond field oversight and into a strategic leadership role—guiding teams, managing client relationships, and driving project success from start to finish. Responsibilities

Lead construction management teams on large-scale transportation projects. Oversee project execution, budgets, schedules, and contract compliance. Serve as the Owner’s on-site representative, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule control. Support business development through proposal writing and client presentations. Mentor and develop junior staff while managing subconsultants and internal resources. Lead major transportation projects for clients like IDOT, the Illinois Tollway, and CDOT. Influence project outcomes through strategic planning and effective team leadership. What You’ll Need To Succeed

10+ years of experience in construction/project management for transportation infrastructure. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; PE license required. Proven experience with Illinois agencies (IDOT, Tollway, CDOT, counties). Strong technical knowledge of roadway, bridge, and interchange construction. Expertise in construction phasing, traffic operations, and documentation. CCM certification is a plus. Physical Requirements And Working Conditions

Ability to perform light work (lifting up to 20 lbs. and frequently carrying objects 10 lbs. or more). Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Capable of performing repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Strong close visual acuity for data analysis, reading, and viewing computer screens. Mobility to navigate job sites, including walking, bending, crawling, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Compensation
