Overview
Paid Social Strategist role at DSplus. The full-time position is responsible for the day-to-day operational success of paid social campaign activations, specifically planning and activating paid social advertising strategies for our automotive client across the US. The role requires collaboration with planning, operations, and analytics to deliver innovative, integrated social media campaign activations. This position is hybrid and may require working from Chicago, LA, Dallas, or NY offices as needed.
Responsibilities
Act as primary day-to-day client contact, supporting all client business needs and meeting objectives month over month
Work with planning and operations teams to ensure campaigns are seamlessly executed
Develop strategic paid social media recommendations outlining platform choices, implementation details, success measurement, and timelines
Place social media campaigns across Meta, Reddit, X, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Snapchat based on the approved strategy
Utilize advanced targeting strategies (custom audiences, third-party data, exclusion lists, lookalike audiences, etc.)
Optimize campaign buys to ensure budgets are spent effectively each month
Develop in-depth campaign reports with analytics on media delivery, engagement, creative, website traffic, attribution, and learnings
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in paid social advertising
Proficiency with Meta, Reddit, X, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Snapchat, including core features and advertising capabilities
Experience with Business Manager and Ad Manager dashboards; budgeting, pixel creation, offline event sets, and advanced reporting
Experience handling large media budgets and deriving insights from results
Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects/campaigns
Experience with tracking/efficiency tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Adobe Analytics, Asana, Google Workspace, Monday.com)
Facebook Blueprint Media Buying Certification strongly preferred
Passion for social media, current on trends and platforms
Self-motivated, well-organized, and analytical with strong communication skills
Experience with retail and/or automotive is strongly preferred
