Commure
Overview
As a Sr. Operations Associate, Pre-Launch at Commure + Athelas, you will play a pivotal role in our operations team, focusing on Revenue-Cycle Management, by working across the whole organization (Product, Eng, Operations, Sales, Account Management) to define critical business processes. You will have end-to-end ownership — ensuring efficient execution for clients and driving business metrics. This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy role that will quickly expand to cover emergent business problem areas. With new product launches on the horizon and a bold vision to transform healthcare, you will help move from an upstart innovator to an industry standard over the next few years. What You’ll Do
Ensure the efficient and timely execution of all essential aspects of internal operations projects, from project initiation to launch. Engage in cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Launcher, Account Management, and other Operations teams. Apply healthcare revenue cycle and billing experience to validate configurations, identify risks, and prevent downstream denials or operational issues. Conduct data validation, reporting, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity during implementation. Contribute to the design and implementation of systems and processes that facilitate scalability and efficiency. Break down complex business problems, own execution and outcomes. Troubleshoot data, process, and workflow blockers and coordinate with cross-functional teams for resolution. Provide business and technical insights that improve workflows and support successful outcomes. Act as a reliable link between operational and technical teams, ensuring accurate capture and execution of requirements. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the needs of Business Operations. What You Have
2-5 years of experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle management (RCM), or billing, ideally within a HealthTech, SaaS, or consulting environment. Experience in consulting, investment banking, or fast-paced operations with strong analytical and execution demands. Strong data and technical aptitude, with experience validating, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets. Deep experience with data analysis tools (SQL and Excel strongly preferred). Basic SQL assessment will be part of the interview process. Understanding of healthcare operational and financial workflows, with the ability to translate them into technical and process requirements. Experience supporting implementations, onboarding, or process improvement projects, preferably across cross-functional teams. Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. Driven, curious, detail-oriented, with a proven track record of success. Ability to oversee the entire project management process, ensuring timely onboarding and continuous improvement of key metrics. Proficiency in documenting and developing best practices to enable incremental improvement of internal ops processes. Customer-focused mindset: proactive in asking questions and understanding customer requests. Comfort in autonomous environments, with strong prioritization and blocker-identification skills. Proficiency in Retool; GSuite is a plus for cross-functional collaboration. Passion for improving RCM and solving operational challenges that impact health systems. Compensation
