This position is a full-time traveling assignment supporting an Advanced Technology project, which includes our Data Center, Pharmaceutical, Industrial/Manufacturing, and EV/Battery/Renewables market segment groups (MSG). Position Details

Head the VDC department and lead preconstruction, engineering, and field installation of all BIM related project deliverables for the business unit or region. Oversee activities of VDC Coordinators, Engineers, and Project Engineers; provide performance feedback to Operations Staff and VDC Regional Manager. Visit job sites to troubleshoot BIM issues and resolve problems. Establish BIM standards for quality and monitor adherence. Provide expertise on local standards, owner standards, and other requirements. Advise Project Leadership on staffing during project setup. Conduct workshops and training to apply BIM to preconstruction and project activities. Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner's representatives. Develop a comprehensive working knowledge of contract documents (2D and 3D deliverables). Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree plus a minimum of ten years\' related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience with progressively more responsible exposure to design, cost, sequence, logistics, and field installations of project components as it relates to BIM. Thorough knowledge of construction BIM tools and applications in cost, scheduling, estimating, and coordination principles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; leading-edge technologies such as BIM and LEAN. Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule. Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with BIM applications such as Navisworks Manage, Trimble SketchUp, Autodesk Revit. Physical Demands
Perform duties requiring physical ability to occasionally climb stairs, ladders, negotiate construction areas, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May require use of construction hoists. Vision requirements: close, peripheral, depth perception; ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Work Environment
On-site construction environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, weather, and risk of electrical shock. Noise level usually moderate to very loud. May perform other duties as assigned.
