Raymond James Job Description Summary Raymond James is seeking a strategic Vice President to lead its Cost Basis and Tax Reporting Operations. This high-impact leadership role offers a unique opportunity to shape enterprise-wide strategy, drive operational excellence, and ensure regulatory compliance in a dynamic financial environment. You will guide high-performing teams, champion continuous improvement, and lead initiatives that enhance reporting accuracy and modernize infrastructure. Your leadership will ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration, aligning operational goals with the broader mission and long-term vision of the organization. Responsibilities Design, develop, and deliver the organization's operational strategy and outcomes. Set and approve area budgets aligned with organizational strategy. Manage and report on business performance; hold teams accountable for business plans and take corrective actions as needed. Develop annual and long-term business plans, ensuring alignment with strategy and defining KPIs and resource budgets. Communicate strategy and broad actions to achieve the organization's mission, inspiring the workforce to meet business goals. Manage stakeholders, including top management, and develop engagement plans. Develop and implement strategies for significant areas of responsibility, anticipating challenges and opportunities. Represent the organization in industry forums and professional committees. Identify and develop necessary capabilities, evaluate gaps, and motivate development activities. Define organizational structure to meet business objectives and ensure regulatory compliance with groups like FINRA, IRS, SEC, etc. Knowledge Of Company structure, policies, mission, and strategies. Project management methodologies. Principles of finance and securities industry operations. Financial markets and products. Skills Organizational authority in planning, prioritizing, and overseeing activities. Expertise in strategic planning, policy development, and project management. Effective communication skills and solution development based on business environment. Negotiation skills and report review capabilities. Licenses/Certifications SIE required or ability to obtain within 120 days. Series 99 and Series 7 required or ability to obtain within 120 days. Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent. Work Experience 10 to 15 years managerial experience. Certifications SIE and FINRA Series 99, 7. Travel Less than 25%. Workstyle Hybrid.
