The Supply Chain Security Operations Manager, assigned to a specific client, will identify security risks and vulnerabilities across the client's supply chain partners while interpreting and communicating corporate security policies. This role involves collaborating with partners to ensure corrective actions align with Global Security management, tracking their implementation, and performing validations. Responsibilities
Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. Identify security risks and vulnerabilities across the client’s supply chain partners. Interpret and communicate the client’s corporate security and investigative policies. Work with the client’s supply chain partners to draft corrective action plans and align them with Global Security management. Track implementation of corrective action plans by supply chain partners and perform field validations to ensure proper execution. Support and/or conduct global security assessments and audits of supply chain partners and prospective suppliers. Engage with third parties to assign security services to mitigate elevated risks within the global supply chain, where directed. Direct activities of field operations personnel to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and best practices. Monitor in-transit shipments, apply risk mitigation measures, and ensure shipments arrive intact at their destination. Identify trends and report them to global security management. Support supply chain incident investigations and tracking through field investigations. Interface with other client corporate and local staff functions relative to security and investigations. Conduct, coordinate and/or perform investigations as required. Establish and maintain liaison with governmental law enforcement and security agencies. Participate in local/regional security mutual aid organizations dealing with regional security issues related to TAPA, CTPAT, and others. Provide leadership in the continued implementation of the common security process and review results with the client and security service providers. Facilitate the common implementation of best business practices in combination with continuous improvement programs. Promote a consistent and enthusiastic focus on client service. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with at least eight years in supply chain management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CPP, PSP, and/or TAPA certifications, preferred. Knowledge of security operations, loss prevention, asset protection and/or IP protection, preferred. Understanding of environment, health, and safety (EHS) as it relates to supply chains. Knowledge of ISO 28000, ISO 31000, ISO 17712, and ISO 27002. Understanding of governmental supply chain security programs (AEO, NEEC, PIP, WCO, TAPA). Understanding of inventory management and reconciliation principles. Effective management and influencing without authority skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong action-planning and data analysis skills. Customer-oriented and results-driven; able to make sound decisions under time constraints. Computer skills; Google Suite. Working Conditions
