Shift: 6:00pm - 11:00pm

Set Pay Rate: $20.44

Essential Functions:

Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications Comply with uniform dress code and personal hygiene standards Clean all assigned areas in accordance with contract specifications Sweep, dust mop, and damp mop floors Use wet vacs and vacuums for carpets and tile Detail corners and edges Empty and clean machines after use Move furniture/equipment to gain access to floors Mix and measure chemicals Prepare, use, and care for equipment Perform preventative maintenance check on equipment before and after use Follow all safety rules and procedures when using any equipment Strip, seal, wax, burnish, & buff floors; clean carpets as required Use low speed and high speed rotary floor machines and ride on floor machines Use scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, strippers, and extractors Use wet vacs, carpet extractors, and carpet spotters Removal trash in specific areas when required Pass and comply with all building and security requirements and procedures

Secondary Functions:

Assist with inventory Perform general custodial duties as needed Clean and maintain equipment Keep records and provide requested reports Perform other duties and tasks as needed Duties, responsibilities, and tasks may change at any time with or without notice

Physical Abilities Needed to Meet Work Demands:

Ability to stand or walk continuously for long periods of time Ability to go up and down stairs Ability to reach above the head, bend, kneel, stoop Ability to operate controls Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs. regularly and 75 – 100 pounds with assistance Ability to work in dusty spaces or adverse weather conditions Ability to see details on the floor or on surfaces

Essential Personnel:

This position is designated as essential. This means that when the facility is faced

with an institutional emergency, employees in this position may be required to remain at their

work location or to report to work to protect, recover, and continue operations at the facility.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred Floor Technician training desired Knowledge of floor finishes, applications, and removals Knowledge of floor care equipment

Experience:

Six months of Floor Technician experience preferred Six months of Custodial experience Candidates with disabilities preferred Seniority level
