Financial Planning Engagement Desk – Associate Planning Director (Northeast Region) Base pay range: $90,000/yr - $120,000/yr. This role involves educating Financial Advisors on Morgan Stanley’s financial planning tools and planning concepts, promoting a goals-based approach, and partnering with key planning stakeholders to support advisory growth and client engagement. Responsibilities
Primary planning resource for 1-2 in-scope markets, supporting broadcast messaging and plan creation/delivery for target client segment Partner with Financial Planning Directors (FPDs) to support the planning mandate in the assigned region Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance visibility and establish a pipeline of commercial opportunities Maintain connectivity with respective market and regional sales/leadership teams Strategic engagement with assigned Focus Financial Advisors Execute coordinated tactical outreach to in-scope markets FAs Qualifications
Series 7, 66 licenses required CFP preferred Bachelor’s degree required 2+ years of financial services experience or related industry Exemplary in communication, presentation, time-management and organizational skills Detail oriented with an ability to handle multiple priorities Ability to work efficiently under pressure, with a focus on the client experience Proficient at listening to client needs, and then capable of skillful construction of tailored financial solutions Successful completion of background check and pre-employment assessments Knowledge of Money Guide Pro preferred but not required Locations
