General Position Summary Responsibilities focus on generating sales through customer service, meeting or exceeding company objectives, providing performance feedback, adhering to visual merchandising guidelines, and maintaining professional appearance per dress code policy.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities Generate Sales

Produce sales gains by providing customer service.

Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics.

Provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate’s sales performance and offer feedback aligned with Company Objectives.

Adhere to current visual guidelines including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.

Maintain a professional appearance consistent with policy.

Control Expenses

Protect Company assets within LIDS Retail policies.

Assist in preparing store schedules that provide proper store coverage and align with wage control guidelines.

Manage store inventory processes including receiving, transferring, price changes, and product counts.

Ensure proper documentation and record keeping per LIDS policies and applicable laws.

Open and close the store as required following procedures per the Operations P&P Manual.

Support and adhere to all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Additional Principal Duties And Responsibilities Supervise Associates

Participate in LIDS Training Programs, set goals for sales and tasks, and conduct regular follow-up.

Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper operations and procedures.

Encourage compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including safekeeping of inventory, funds, and property.

Perform work of subordinates as needed.

Communicate with employees at all levels of the company.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent plus one year relative experience.

Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.

Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Ability to operate a computer and relevant software.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climb a ladder and work with hands overhead.

Standing for up to 100% of the work time; ability to work unsupervised.

Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. PT roles may include monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount.
