This role is for a Senior Solution Product Owner focused on Pharmacy Claims Data and is part of a product development team that partners with engineering to understand business problems, refine and prioritize the product backlog, elicit and document product discovery/definition, and develop and validate solutions for the development team on a day‑to‑day basis. The Senior Solution Product Owner acts as the primary interface with the Scrum Teams and drives value for customers.

Responsibilities

Act as primary point of contact and decision maker on product discovery/definition and features to be developed, including managing discovery/definition, defining use cases, documentation and user stories for the current sprint, and refining for subsequent sprints.

Work with product managers and operations teams to convert product discovery/definition into actionable backlog items; own prioritization and sequencing of the backlog through feature mapping, user story creation, acceptance criteria, and loading into tracking tools.

Enable product vision from product management and operations into a actionable product roadmap and releases; own the product backlog, coordinate with stakeholders to align on expectations, and visualize value delivery through sequencing and release plans.

Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to shape objectives, provide clarifications, demonstrate working solutions, and contribute to process improvements.

Monitor feature performance and usage; act as point of contact for questions and feedback; contribute to test strategy and test cases; advocate for quality solutions; conduct reviews with internal teams and key customers to ensure alignment on needs and ongoing discovery/definition; ensure full‑stack product ownership and sustainability for the product.

Develop strong relationships with development teams, internal groups, and customers to ensure timely and effective delivery of features and defect resolution; maintain long‑term relationships with product management, technology teams, and external partners.

Collaborate with team members to identify and prioritize key product documentation as needed.

Monitor the functional/product landscape for changes in competitive positioning.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School diploma or GED is required.

5 years of work experience leading business processes, system changes and/or similar relevant business experience.

Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to both technical and non‑technical people.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an agile environment.

Experience with commercial software design concepts, practices, and procedures.

5+ years of experience writing Product Discovery/Definition for software in a Product Owner role.

SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager (POPM) Certification.

Experience with minimum viable product, Scrum, and/or Lean startup.

Experience developing Product Discovery/Definition for commercial software products.

User Experience (UX) Design experience.

Experience delivering on‑premise and cloud/mobility products.

Experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or related industry.

Technical background with service‑oriented architectures, web services, databases, modeling, and/or distributed computing.

Experience with change management and leading change initiatives.

Potential pay for this position ranges from $94,000.00 - $160,000.00 based on experience and skills.
