This position will provides strategic, analytic, and project support for physician practice acquisitions. They will manage the business development function as well as analytical work and financial projections associated with physician practice acquisitions. Position is responsible for identifying and profiling the performance of potential practices, supporting relationship development and implementations, and overseeing a significant portion of the due diligence process. They will have a role in establishing practice relations, management of data acquisition and analysis as well as development of key deliverables such as pro-formas, term sheets, and board-level management recommendations. Financial Analysis: Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, capital investment, acquisition activity, future performance and operating forecasts. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of revenue, expected reimbursement, rates of return, net present value, accounts receivables, reserves, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements. Builds forecasting models and evaluates the pro-forma impact of merger on actual and forecasted levels. Develops financial plans, forecasts and financial models for new/future capital expenditures. Provides analysis of revenue capture, expected reimbursement, receivables, cash, cycle times, cost to collect, and other important indicators within the revenue cycle. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, healthcare administration or related field required. MBA or other related Masters degree strongly preferred. 3-5 years healthcare related experience in financial accounting, business finance, planning or related experience required; Minimum requirement of 2 years supervisory/manager experience. Prior experience in a physician practice operational setting and/or significant understanding of physician practice data, workflows and service line deliveries preferred. Experience in business modeling and financial analysis to drive business decisions. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1-10 lbs 0-33% of the work day (occasionally), negligible 34-66% of the workday (frequently), negligible 67-100% of the workday (constantly). Lifting 10 lbs max, carrying of small articles such as dockets, ledgers, files, small tools, occasional standing & walking, frequent sitting, close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing). Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS: Factors affecting environment conditions may vary depending on the assigned work area and tasks. Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure, Bio-hazardous waste, chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors, communicable diseases, electrical shock, floor surfaces, hot/cold temperatures, indoor/outdoor conditions, latex, lighting patient care/handling injuries, radiation, shift work, travel may be required, use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
