Preparation and administration of water treatments. Monitor and maintain rodent bait stations weekly. Report conditions to supervisor regularly. Operate power tools (heavy duty drill), weed-eaters and mowers. Repair/replace defective feed system parts (non‑electrical). Check and maintain: Feed: complete and report feed inventories 3 days per week; ensure constant availability to birds; assemble/disassemble feed systems as needed; maintain proper feed levels to minimize waste and maximize bird performance. Water: ensure birds have ample supply; maintain and flush systems as necessary; periodic checks throughout the day. Ventilation: check and adjust ventilation equipment to maintain proper air quality per company guidelines (including stoves, space heaters, fans, foggers, curtains). Pre-placement Management: check and inspect breaker panel; conduct test runs on equipment (space heaters, stoves, exhaust fans, fogger pump) to ensure proper operation. Monitor daily operations to ensure equipment functions as intended and safety standards are met. Qualifications
Minimum Education: Must have a valid CA Driver's License. Experience: Ability to perform basic calculations; ability to read and write (desirable but not required). Language: Ability to understand, speak, and write fluent English; Spanish a plus but not required. Ability to follow written or oral instructions; adapt to changing conditions; communicate effectively with peers and management. Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements: Able to climb a ladder up to 20 feet; capable of repetitive motions; able to use hands to manipulate objects and controls. Work Environment: Exposure to moving equipment, vibration, dust, vapors, high noise levels, chemicals, odors, work at heights, and varying weather conditions. Compensation and Benefits
Base rate of $19.50 per hour, with opportunities for pay premiums, shift differentials, and overtime where applicable.
