What You’ll Do And Impact

As a ITW Welding Product Specialist, you'll serve as an expert in your field, assisting our customers in I5 Corridor to achieve welding process excellence. Your deep knowledge of our comprehensive welding portfolio, encompassing welding equipment and consumables, will play a vital role in identifying and pursuing growth opportunities. You'll excel in presenting solutions that deliver genuine value to our customers through documented improvements. Whether leading or providing support, you'll play a pivotal part in both safeguarding and expanding our presence in regional accounts.

In-depth technical understanding of welding products, equipment, and consumables.

Prior experience in welding and sales.

Minimum Education And Experience

BS in Welding Engineering or Welding Engineering Technology degree or equivalent experience

2+ years prior experience in welding industry

Subject matter expert in manufacturing welding processes and welding variables

Full welding portfolio knowledge/understanding required

Technically conversant in latest welding/automation technology plus experience with welding codes

AWS Certified Welding Inspector qualification preferred

What you need to do to be successful in this role

Strong business acumen required

Ability to develop strategic plans and proposals around current customer landscape

Hands-on welding ability, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Ability to communicate with and build relationships with key decision makers and influencers

Strategic selling skills with a command of value-added sales techniques to support conversion process

Strong communication, presentation, time/project management, collaboration and interpersonal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and CRM system

Ability to travel overnight at least 50%

Salary Range: ITW Welding Product Specialist compensation package offers a competitive base salary annually. This estimated salary range of $96,000 to $121,000 is dependent on the geographic location, the successful candidate’s qualification, and prior experience. We are committed to maintaining equitable and competitive salaries across different regions through regular reviews and adjustments. Sales Compensation & Bonus Plan: Employees in this role are eligible to participate in the ITW Welding Product Specialist compensation plan, which includes performance-based quarterly bonuses, allowing employees to increase their earnings through exceptional performance. Annual salary increases are also provided, reflecting both individual contributions and overall company success.
