Solomon Page . Our client, a healthcare company, is looking for a Patient Services Representative for a 13 week assignment in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities
Performs all Patient Access activities including Scheduling, Pre-Registration, Financial Clearance, Referrals, Authorizations, Financial Counseling, and Patient Arrival/Registration, as assigned. Obtains, verifies and updates patient demographic and financial information, verifies insurance eligibility and benefits to ensure financial clearance and data accuracy. Performs proper system search to secure a medical record number (MRN). Follows CSMC Patient Identification Policy when assigning and verifying MRN. Performs proper selection of physician(s) Referring, Attending, Admitting and PCP; recognizes privileging issues and follows appropriate procedures. Determines and explains patient estimates and financial obligations and collects funds to meet department cash collection goals. Explains registration and consent forms clearly to the patient and obtains necessary signatures. Maintains patient confidentiality. Monitors and resolves WQs and Scorecard errors daily. Keeps abreast of state, federal and regulatory requirements, and CSMC policy specific to the admissions department. About Solomon Page
