The Sr Manager, Account Management is an important leadership role, responsible for guiding and developing a team of Account Managers who drive merchant success. This role ensures the team delivers on key account strategies, fosters strong client relationships, and identifies opportunities for merchant growth. Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee team account strategies to align with PayPal’s vision, delivering sustainable, long-term value for merchants and PayPal. Lead and maintain senior-level relationships with key merchants, ensuring the team positions itself as trusted advisors aligned with strategic objectives. Support and guide the team in driving new business growth through strategic prospecting, hosting events, and leveraging referral opportunities. Oversee and mentor the negotiation of complex commercial terms, contracts, and agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Drive team performance in revenue retention, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities, fostering a culture of exceeding sales quotas and KPIs. Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in account management, client success, or sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role, ideally within payments, technology, or financial services industries, focused on driving merchant growth and retention. A comprehensive understanding of e-commerce, merchant services, and payment solutions, with expertise in fintech products and digital platforms as a significant advantage. Proven track record of leading teams managing high-value accounts, driving the development of strategic account plans, and consistently achieving team sales quotas through retention, upsell, and cross-sell efforts. PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $219,000 to $377,300.
