Licensed Senior Environmental Engineer

The candidate will work in environmental remediation, engineering, and related services, with experience in engineering design report writing and project management for petroleum impacted site restoration projects. Experience with solvent and PFAS remediation is a plus. Responsibilities include completing projects within scope, time, and budget, managing projects up to $500K. Aerostar SES LLC

$93,000 to $135,000 DOE. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage multiple low complexity soil and groundwater remediation projects. Prepare remediation system designs, supervise implementation, and oversee operation and maintenance. Coordinate with regulatory agencies. Manage field teams, subcontractors, project finances, and schedules to ensure deliverables and budgets are met. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's in environmental or civil engineering. Florida PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months. 5-10 years experience in environmental remediation and consulting. Design and implementation experience at petroleum sites. Basic project management skills and willingness to grow. Experience with FDEP. Travel up to 30% annually. Preferred Qualifications
40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and annual refreshers. First Aid and CPR training. USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management certification. Collaborative personality, good communication, presentation skills, and flexibility for projects outside remediation. Additional Factors
Pre-employment drug screening, background check, and necessary security clearances are required. Physical & Working Conditions
Requires maneuvering at work sites, seeing, hearing, communicating, and physical activity including lifting up to 35 pounds, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and using PPE.
