Under the general supervision of a Manager within the Community Wellness Center department, the Community Wellness Center Specialist must be fully competent to perform a variety of time sensitive responsibilities. Projects may include statistical analyses, operations support, policy, procedure, database management, program implementation, develop and maintain contractual agreements, regulatory oversight, and other areas. This position will also interact with center participants, which include IEHP members and prospective members. Interaction entails quality assurance programs, class announcements, and supporting key organizational measures. At least two (2) years of experience in a managed care environment High School Diploma or GED required Associate’s degree from an accredited institution preferred This is a bilingual position. Identified bilingual team members in this role must take a language proficiency assessment and must receive a passing score Key Qualifications
Must have a valid California Driver's license and valid automobile insurance. Must qualify and maintain driving record to drive company vehicles based on IEHP insurance standards of no more than three (3) points Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word SQL knowledge preferred Interpersonal skills, including but not limited to, appropriate communication, including resolving conflict, excellent teamwork, and relationship skills, speak confidently and clearly to large audiences, active listening, and strong writing ability Relationship skills, including but not limited to compassion, motivational interviewing, sensitivity to multi-cultural communities Professional skills, including but not limited to, balancing multiple projects, constant learning, observing ethical and legal rules, identifying situations calling for mandatory reporting, ability to objectively report data, critically review data and identify targeted areas for program activity Candidate must possess analytical skills and strong communication skills both written and orally Ability to build effective working relationships The Program Specialist is expected to exercise adequate time management and strong ability to multitask Pay Range
$25.90 USD Hourly - $33.02 USD Hourly
