Principle Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities
Provides advanced analytical expertise to all Network Optimization Analysts and develops all required analytical tools, processes and educational programs. Collaborates in the discovery of supply chain opportunities throughout a combined Ahold Delhaize network. Aligns team on all supply chain concepts, best practices, industry standards and preeminent analytical methodologies. Provides advanced expertise for network design initiatives, accuracy and scope of projects, and the development of appropriate tool sets. Fosters collaboration across all Ahold Delhaize banners in support of each company's unique business strategies. Collaborates with internal and external partners to guide, provide expertise, and recommend solutions that highlight cost and other holistic impacts and trade-offs to the Ahold Delhaize Supply Chain. Develops channel recommendations for all AD network physical flow paths. Collaborates with internal and external partners to design and implement strategies and tactics to reduce total landed cost, while developing a more consumer driven network. Evaluate, analyze, and recommend cross-functional supply chain solutions that align Ahold Delhaize Supply Chain strategy with individual business objectives. Effectively work with cross-functional teams across multiple operating companies toward common Supply Chain strategies to increase profitability by reducing net landed cost. Spearheads the development of alternate product channels utilizing sound research and design methodology and the development and implementation of programs to improve operating processes. Facilitates continuous improvement conversations at all levels throughout the organization and meets with impacted departments concerning goals, priorities and technical concerns. Acts as an internal company expert on industry supply chain activities, changes, and trends. Provide support for motivating peers and function as an effective promoter of change and growth. Provide support for the implementation of a continuous improvement culture. Serve as a member of key teams and committees as needed. Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau). Ability to manage data in tables (SQL, Alteryx, Excel). In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., TMS, WMS, SAP, Manhattan Active). Familiarity with optimization modeling tools (Gurobi, CPLEX, Coupa (Llamasoft)) for simulating and optimizing distribution networks and supply chain strategies. Experience: Proven experience in supply chain strategy, network design, and optimization in distribution centers or logistics environments. Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly network and facility expansions. Strong background in project management, including leading cross-functional teams to implement optimization strategies. Expertise in supply chain development, operations, and maintenance, especially in large distribution networks. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, able to deliver actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.
