Overview
Administrator III, Information & Cyber Security at Invenergy. The role will build and maintain data protection policies and monitoring within Microsoft Purview for Invenergy data (email, Teams, SharePoint, etc.). The data protection administrator will also work with Legal and Compliance to perform eDiscovery and to apply data protection labels and retention schedules. Responsibilities
Data Protection Strategy and Implementation: Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulations like HIPAA and GDPR. Utilize Microsoft Purview to implement and enforce data loss prevention (DLP) policies, configure data classification and labeling across various data sources, and develop retention and insider risk management strategies. Purview Management and Operations: Administer Microsoft Purview Unified Catalog for data governance. Monitor and respond to DLP policy violations and data loss incidents, and manage security alerts related to data protection. Support secure software development with a focus on data protection. Compliance and Risk Management: Collaborate to evaluate and develop policies addressing information security and risk reduction. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards such as GDPR, PCI DSS, and HIPAA. Conduct data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and work to mitigate risks. Collaboration and Reporting: Collaborate with various stakeholders to implement technology solutions supporting data protection policies. Participate in responding to security incidents and provide expertise on data protection. Communicate complex concepts effectively. Create and manage API connections and rulesets for integrations. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 3+ years in cybersecurity or related fields with hands-on data protection experience, including Microsoft Purview. Expertise in Microsoft Purview features. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration. Strong understanding of data protection frameworks and secure data lifecycle management. Familiarity with relevant security and compliance standards. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CIPP, or Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Governance Administrator Associate. Base Pay and Benefits
Base Pay: $100,000 - 115,000 USD Annual Bonus: 25% The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills. In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus programs, designed to reward individual and company performance.
