Position: BME Adjunct-Biomaterials (Part-Time). Department: Bio-Medical Engineering. Reports To: Department Chair. Position Type: Faculty. Salary: In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the rate for this position is $2591 per contact hour (USD). Non-Exempt. Bargaining Unit: AFT-UCAN. Develop and deliver lectures, prepare and grade assignments, design laboratory experiments, and assess student learning. Learn and use the online course management system Canvas. Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class (e.g., office hours). Submit grades to the registrar at the end of the semester. Qualifications
Prerequisite: M.S. degree in biomedical engineering or related field required. Preferred: Ph.D. with previous college teaching experience. Industrial experience is an added advantage. At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be waived if the candidate demonstrates an equivalent combination of education and experience in chemical or biomedical engineering to ensure success in the position.
