Position Summary We seek a highly experienced and strategic
Head of Security
to lead our global security operations, including executive protection, corporate offices, and manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for safeguarding our people, assets, and reputation through proactive risk management, threat mitigation, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a background in federal law enforcement (e.g., FBI), military service (e.g., U.S. Army), and private sector leadership within the
Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG)
or
Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
industry.
Key Responsibilities Executive Protection & Corporate Security Design and oversee executive protection programs for senior leadership, including travel security, residential safety, and event risk planning. Manage physical security operations across corporate offices and manufacturing plants, ensuring access control, surveillance, and emergency protocols.
Supply Chain & Manufacturing Security Ensure security and integrity of supply chain and manufacturing operations through risk assessments, compliance, and incident response. Implement physical measures at production sites, logistics networks, and with vendors. Develop training programs and communication strategies to raise awareness about security best practices.
Risk Assessment & Threat Management Lead enterprise risk assessments, develop threat intelligence capabilities, and conduct site-specific risk evaluations.
Workplace Violence Prevention Establish and lead programs to prevent workplace violence, including training and reporting mechanisms. Collaborate with HR, Legal, and EHS teams to address behavioral threats and ensure safety.
Crisis Management & Incident Response Lead crisis response planning, emergency preparedness, and business continuity efforts. Serve as liaison with law enforcement and emergency services during incidents.
Security Strategy & Governance Develop and implement a global security strategy aligned with business goals and legal standards (e.g., OSHA, GDPR).
Leadership & Collaboration Build and lead a high-performing security team across regions and functions. Partner with Legal, HR, IT, Operations, and Communications for integrated security solutions.
Technology & Innovation Evaluate and deploy advanced security technologies such as surveillance, access control, and digital threat detection.
Who We’re Looking For Proven leadership in corporate security, with prior service in Intelligence or Law Enforcement agencies or equivalent military/security roles. 10-15+ years of experience in executive protection, physical security, and risk management. Experience in securing complex supply chains and manufacturing environments, including risk assessment and compliance. Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain security. Experience managing multi-site and global security operations. Expertise in workplace violence prevention and behavioral threat assessment. Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) preferred. Nice to Have: Strategic thinking, operational agility, high integrity, crisis leadership, excellent communication, multilingual skills, and CPG/FMCG experience.
Base Salary Range: $182,000 - $242,000
