Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. The contractor will support the Marine Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC) by enabling sustained coordination with USINDOPACOM, COMPACFLT, USARPAC, PACAF, SOCPAC, MARFORPAC G33, G35 Exercises, G5, III MEF, MARFORJ, MCIPAC, and key partner forces in Japan and the Philippines. The contractor will coordinate with U.S. military forces in Japan and the Philippines, as well as with the Japanese Self-Defense Forces (JSDF) and the Philippine Armed Forces. This role requires flexibility and the ability to quickly deploy and support the development of operations, activities, and investments (OAIs) in response to rapidly changing operational needs in both countries. Base pay

$120,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Responsibilities

Coordination and Liaison: Facilitate continuous coordination with USINDOPACOM, COMPACFLT, USARPAC, PACAF, SOCPAC, MARFORPAC G33, G35 Exercises, G5, III MEF, MARFORJ, MCIPAC, and other relevant U.S. and allied military entities to ensure effective integration and synchronization of operations within the Indo-Pacific region, specifically in Japan and the Philippines. Theater-Specific Operational Planning: Enable and support operational planning in both Japan and the Philippines, incorporating regional dynamics and key relationships with JSDF and Philippine Armed Forces. Ensure OAIs are aligned with U.S. objectives. Rapid Deployment and Flexibility: Demonstrate the ability to quickly deploy to Japan or the Philippines as needed to support late-developing OAIs or emerging operational requirements. Travel at short notice and support evolving mission needs. Collaboration with U.S. Military Forces: Coordinate and engage with U.S. military personnel and leadership in Japan (e.g., III MEF, MARFORPAC) and the Philippines (e.g., JUSMAGPHL), ensuring seamless integration of planning efforts and real-time information sharing. Integrated Planning Support: Support planning efforts by participating in OPT, JPT, CFT, and other forums; contribute to multi-domain operations planning and execution. Campaign Synchronization: Participate in Campaign Synchronization Boards and Decision Boards; ensure operations are integrated into broader campaign plans supporting USINDOPACOM and MARFORPAC objectives. Crisis Response and O&I Management: Provide planning support for crisis response operations and the management of operations and initiatives in both countries; adjust plans as needed. Regional Threat Analysis: Conduct operational and intelligence assessments of the security environment in Japan and the Philippines; provide actionable insights for decision-making. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present operational briefings and reports for senior leadership; communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations. Education & Experience

Master's degree. Will consider a bachelor’s with 10+ years of operations planning experience at MAJCOM, Combatant Command or equivalent. Understanding of Marine Corps Planning Process and RPIE public planning process. Five to 10 years of experience with USMC MAGTF Planning. Knowledge of operational planning, communication synchronization, service and joint doctrine, and Marine Corps components. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of the Pacific theater and relationships between nations. Core Skills / Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Expertise in operational planning for bilateral and multilateral operations in Japan, the Philippines, or the Indo-Pacific. Experience coordinating with U.S. and host-nation forces for planning and execution. Understanding of the security environment in Japan and the Philippines and military relationships in the region. Experience integrating joint, combined, and multi-domain operations. Ability to adapt quickly to evolving environments and provide planning support on short notice. Working Conditions

Travel may be required. Required to sit for extended periods and maintain focus. Qualification as an authorized company driver with valid license and acceptable driving record. All drivers must have valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record acceptable to the company’s insurer. Security Clearance

A TS/SCI Clearance is required for this position. Estimated Compensation

$120,000 - $160,000 Individual salaries are determined by factors including local market, internal equity, candidate qualifications, skills, education, and experience.
