Organization Overview:

The Goddard Riverside Community Center (Goddard Riverside) and the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center (Isaacs Center) are well-established Manhattan community-based agencies supporting services to approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. We are two of New York City’s leading human services organizations, meeting the needs of children, youth, families, homeless individuals, and older adults across Manhattan and NYC. We work daily for a fair and just society where everyone has the opportunity to improve their lives.

The Isaacs Center primarily focuses on children, low-income families, out-of-school and out-of-work youth, and aging New Yorkers, operating community centers in East Harlem and Yorkville, delivering impactful, innovative, and intergenerational programs.

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Associate Vice President of Aging & Nutrition Services, the Operations Director of HDM-East oversees the Food and Nutrition Department's delivery and administrative teams related to the Department of the Aging (DFTA) and the Home Delivered Meals Program. This role involves effective, efficient, and sustainable management of key personnel, including the Home Delivered Meals Manager, Food Transport team, Food Services Manager, and administrative staff. The Director is a vital member of the leadership team, collaborating across the organization to support delivery initiatives and ensure compliance with all City and State regulations.

Schedule: 35 hours per week

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, or related field

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Strong verbal and written communication skills

High accuracy in work

Knowledge of Peerplace and/or Intacct is a plus

Strong attention to detail and understanding of databases

Physical Requirements/Work Environment: Office located in an Older Adult Center
