In the role of Transportation EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to: Support Rail and Transit Project Managers and Engineers through development of track and civil designs. Attend project meetings and help with development of agendas, meeting notes and preparation of materials and exhibits needed for meetings. Be a self-starter with a desire to collaborate and learn from Engineers and Senior staff. Be able to work independently on tasks and seek assistance from Engineers and Senior staff as needed. Take responsibility to create a quality work product and see tasks through to completion. Give directions to clerical and other technical personnel as needed. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression Hands-on experience with AutoCAD C3D, MicroStation and InRoads MS Office Applications experience Strong interest in railroad and transit design Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree Hands-on experience with MicroStation, InRoads and GEOPAK-route design MS Office Applications experience Strong interest in railroad design An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
