Meet or exceed personal sales goals while delivering a great customer experience Be knowledgeable about location, price and use of merchandise; answer questions effectively Follow instructions for customer requests while maintaining safety requirements Analyze reports and make decisions about inventory purchasing, merchandise arrangement, and sales trends to meet Scheels standards Stock shelves, tables, and counters; merchandise to Scheels standards and set up advertising, signs, and displays Communicate professionally with vendors and outside sales representatives Train associates on proper use and basic knowledge of merchandise Prepare for and facilitate required product knowledge and sales meetings Attend weekly sales and product knowledge training meetings Maintain professional appearance and attitude; contribute to a positive team atmosphere; follow Scheels’ policies and procedures Read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions; write routine reports and correspondence Perform basic math for currency, measurements, and percentages; present information to customers and colleagues Work the assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends and holidays Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and clearly explain benefits Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Heavy work: exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects. Safety procedures must be followed to minimize risk of injury.
