The cluster of 4 stations reaches thousands of listeners on a daily basis. Position Overview 95.1 KBBY is seeking a dynamic and creative Assistant Program Director to help shape the sound, image, music, brand, and vision of 95.1 KBBY across all platforms. This part-time role blends on-air talent with behind-the-scenes programming and promotional strategy, requiring a passion for radio, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of audience engagement through both traditional and digital channels. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and execute the brand identity of 95.1 KBBY across all distribution channels. Deliver a compelling, daily voice-tracked show that resonates with 95.1 KBBY’s target demographic and drives audience growth. Write, produce, and deliver engaging commercial copy that aligns with client and station goals. Schedule daily music logs and prepare them for air in a timely and accurate manner. Produce 4-5 hours of promotional content weekly, including voicing commercials and writing promo copy and liners. Conduct quarterly station ascertainments and ensure documentation is accurate and timely. Work closely with the sales team to support and enhance client relationships through creative integration and promotional opportunities. Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute contests, promotions, and major station events. Utilize social media platforms to build brand awareness and engage listeners with fresh, creative content. Operate on-air systems and learn Cumulus Media’s standard operating system (OpX) and other relevant platforms. Ensure 95.1 KBBY operates in compliance with FCC regulations and internal policies. Be available for live broadcasts, station events, and public appearances as needed. Participate in paid endorsements and talent fee opportunities as assigned, in alignment with station and client branding. Qualifications

Prior experience in radio broadcasting or media production preferred. Experience with music scheduling software and preparing music logs for broadcast. Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital content creation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to voice track and produce engaging on-air content. Familiarity with audio editing software and broadcast operating systems (OpX knowledge is a plus). Excellent time management and organizational skills. Creative thinker with a passion for music, branding, and audience engagement. Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations related to radio broadcasting. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Pay Range USD $27.00 - USD $32.00 /Hr. What We Offer
