The Opportunity

As a member of the US Commercial Finance Team, the

Director Finance Business Partner

serves as a trusted financial advisor to senior leaders across Marketing, Sales, Healthcare Systems, Patient Experience/Operations and Strategic Pricing and Contracting. You will be embedded within the business, delivering strategic financial insights, optimizing commercial investments and ensuring data-driven outcomes that accelerate growth and short- and long-term value. You\'ll bring a commitment to process excellence and experience navigating the complex value chain in the US pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities

Be the principal financial partner to executives in the US region. Shape commercial and marketing strategies with financial guidance to ensure resource allocation, profitability, and return on investment. Support brand planning, new product launches, and go-to-market strategies through forecasting, financial modeling, and performance tracking. Create analytics and strategic insight for sales performance, pricing, and contracting across payer segments (including Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial). Collaborate with Contracting, Market Access, Government Pricing, and Patient Services to evaluate Gross-to-Net components and improve contra revenue elements (e.g., rebates, chargebacks, admin fees). Lead revenue forecasting, net sales analysis, and expense planning within Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Demand Review Management (DRM) cycles. Build scenario models to assess performance risk, growth opportunities, and resource trade-offs. Develop and track indicators for Sales, Volume, GTN, Marketing Spend Effectiveness, and Margin. Influence decision-making across Commercial Operations by providing clear financial insights. Lead the consolidation and financial oversight of operational expenses across areas, translating functional plans into a cohesive financial outlook and delivering executive-level performance narratives that highlight risks and opportunities. Support delivery of the Finance Strategy and contribute to Global Finance team development plans; operate effectively in a matrix environment without formal authority. Provide external financial audit support at half-year and full-year, including preparation of documentation and collaboration with auditors to resolve issues within agreed timelines. Ensure financial processes follow CSL policies and maintain proper controls. Support and mentor a team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities; foster a collaborative environment that drives results. Contribute to global financial projects, transformation initiatives, and process optimization efforts as assigned. Your Skills And Experience

10+ years of progressive experience in business planning, commercial analysis, or business partnering roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. 5+ years in a commercial finance role with understanding of the US life sciences value chain, preferably in rare disease. Open to exploring new technology and process improvements. Ability to collaborate with multiple levels and within a region. Advanced skills in Excel and experience with ERP and BI systems (e.g., SAP S/4, BW/BI, BPC, SAC, Power BI, QlikView, Tableau). Familiarity with Model N is a plus. Benefits
