The Audit & Assurance team provides traditional attestation services as well as accounting and consulting on applying accounting principles. We emphasize audit quality and deep industry insight. This role is for Audit Senior Associates with experience in the Commercial Services industry vertical, with opportunities to lead, deepen industry knowledge, and grow client relationships.

Responsibilities

Running client engagements from start to finish, including financial statement preparation, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, planning, and related administrative functions.

Supervising, training, and mentoring staff and interns on audit processes and assessing performance for engagement reviews.

Maintaining strong client relationships and working with client management and staff at all levels to perform audit services.

Collaborating with the audit team to identify and resolve client issues discovered during the audit process and applying creative approaches to grow expertise.

Researching and analyzing financial statements and audit issues using electronic databases and audit software.

Engaging with key client management to collect information, resolve audit-related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.

Qualifications

2+ years of recent and relevant public accounting external audit experience.

Experience working with Commercial Services clients.

Organizational, interpersonal, technical, and accounting/auditing skills to work efficiently with clients and staff and build positive relationships.

Experience with engagement management, reviews, and staff supervision.

Ability to multi-task and manage multiple engagements concurrently.

Ability to perform research on technical matters prior to submitting for manager review.

Education requirement for CPA certification in your aligned home office state; having a CPA license in that state is preferred.

Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to client sites.

Compensation and Benefits The wage range for this role is a broad estimate and depends on factors such as skills, experience, licensure, and location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $63,500.00 - $142,000.00 per year.
