KPMG US KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our Accounting Methods and Credit Services practice. Responsibilities: Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to conduct research and development (R&D) tax credit consulting services, including leading client interviews and discussions, performing tax technical research, and developing business and industry expertise Lead federal tax consulting services, including accounting method assessments, design and implementation of products related to revenue and expense recognition, capitalized items, fixed assets, and inventories Communicate directly with client personnel, including operations, finance, accounting, and engineering and sustain excellent client relationships Manage and implement multiple projects simultaneously, which include client interviews, computations, analysis, data gathering and coordination of KPMG and client resources Assist in new business development, including add-on business, while sustaining excellent client service by networking within the firm and building on existing relationships outside of the firm Liaise with members of KPMG's National Washington Tax practice on various technical matters Qualifications: Minimum eight years of recent experience in a public accounting firm or corporate taxation experience, including experience in accounting methods and credit services Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to evaluate and articulate complex information Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Access; experience performing internet research Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams with the ability to travel to client locations Salary and benefits: KPMG offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
