As we continue to grow and broaden our footprint, we are expanding our Operations Team in the greater Chicago area. We are seeking an experienced
Finance
professional with a proven track record in consulting or restructuring – someone who embraces continuous improvement and brings an entrepreneurial mindset. This role involves on-site work at portfolio companies located across US territory.
Your Tasks:
Manage the restructuring and improvement processes for our portfolio companies on-site to implement and improve sound cash management processes on-site
Partner closely with the Mutares restructuring team by conducting financial analyses, developing and integrating financial models, and critically evaluating business cases
Prepare and execute financing solutions (factoring, asset-based funding, credit lines)
Improve financial statement closing and other finance/controlling processes and assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit
Manage the relationship with external stakeholders (auditors, financial advisers, banks, credit insurers, etc.)
Your Profile:
Successfully completed a Finance degree or similar with outstanding results
At least 6 years of experience in a Big4/Management Consulting firm (preferably restructuring focused) or Controlling/Finance department of an industry firm (preferably with exposure to restructuring situation)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Business fluency in English, with the ability to communicate in a well-structured and concise manner
Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week (typically Monday – Thursday) and to work in an international environment
