Overview

Maintenance Professional at Trinity Services Inc. is a full-time role in the Maintenance Department of a nonprofit organization. This position supports basic home repairs including carpentry, basic plumbing and electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, drywall repairs and painting. This is an entry level or skilled position. Shift

Monday - Friday; with some on-call responsibilities Salary

Maintenance Department Essential Functions

A adhere to workplace safety policies and standards Provide quality work on all maintenance and repair projects Must demonstrate a working knowledge and understanding of most construction and repair processes and demonstrate skills in the areas of electricity, carpentry, plumbing, roofing, painting and tiling, and cement work Must exhibit effective communication with supervisor and co-workers Conduct monthly reviews of assigned homes including checking of HVAC, air and water filters, plumbing, and water pressure. Must list repairs needed in the home including wall repair, painting, gutter issues, driveways needing repair and other outside work including deck repair, cleaning or painting, and landscaping Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in a clean and hygienic condition at the end of repair or maintenance projects Skills and Abilities

Complete assigned projects on a daily basis. Inform supervisor of any changes in the scope of the assigned job. Must be familiar with emergency disaster and fire related requirements, and review each job site for safety. Inform supervisor of any unsafe conditions. Must demonstrate skills in most or all of the following areas: electricity, carpentry, plumbing, roofing, painting and tiling, and cement work. Must be available to be paid on-call after hours on a rotating basis. Physical Demands

Be able to lift over 60 pounds from floor to waist unassisted Be able to push and pull 75 pounds Be able to push wheelchairs up to 200 pounds Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods Operate motor vehicles Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate power tools and equipment Physical activities include driving, balancing, pulling, pushing, standing, climbing, grasping, stooping, crouching, crawling, kneeling, pulling, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion Qualifications

High school diploma or GED Knowledge of repair and maintenance safety procedures Benefits
