Overview
Senior IT Administrator and Action Officer role at CACI International Inc. Location: Pentagon Mark Center, Alexandria, Virginia. Time Type: Full time. Employee Type: Regular. Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret. Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%. Type of Travel: Continental US. Responsibilities
Lead DoD CIO oversight of Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) deprecation planning and implementation. Provide technical support for tracking progress and milestones with the DISA JRSS Project Management Office (PMO) and the four remaining DoD Components deprecating JRSS (primarily US Army and US Air Force). Conduct reviews of Component deprecation plans and activities; create briefs, scorecards, and other materials for DoD CIO leadership on JRSS matters. Hold periodic technical discussions with the client on the state of JRSS deprecation and support messaging at JRSS planning board meetings and other forums. Support development and coordination of implementation plans to modernize and optimize network capabilities (e.g., DISN, MILDEP network convergence optimization; 4th Estate Network Optimization; SIPRNet Modernization; edge cloud) in support of Department priorities. Act as or support the secretariat for high-level recurring meetings with significant engagement with senior DoD stakeholders. Manage working groups, provide high-level stakeholder support, and utilize Microsoft applications to enhance team productivity and communication. Develop policy, draft and staff coordination with stakeholders, draft and publish DoD Instructions, briefing materials, and talking points. Demonstrate strong writing, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills. Location
This role is based at the Pentagon Mark Center in Alexandria, Virginia, 5 days a week. Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship is required. Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must have a Secret security clearance, at a minimum. Master’s degree in a related field. At least 12 years of general experience; preference for experience supporting the U.S. Department of Defense, Defense Information System Agency, or Combatant Commands. Self-starter with strong policy development, written and oral communication skills; team player. Ability to work with SMEs to turn content into polished material. Experience annotating working documents to maintain a trail of changes and indicate what’s resolved or in progress. Comfort participating in SME-related working groups and communicating meeting content to government clients. Proven ability to organize and lead working groups that meet client requirements and benefit member organizations. Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment. Proficiency with IT systems and willingness to learn new technologies. Experience supporting governance boards and working groups. Knowledge of Office 365, Cybersecurity Zero Trust Approach, and awareness of DoD365 records management challenges. Desired
Knowledge of DEOS, RMF, JRSS, and/or Cloud Computing; understanding of AWS/Azure. Pay and Benefits
