This position is on-site in Warner Robins, GA and part of the Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS) organization, supporting the B-1B Electronic Warfare Software Program. Responsibilities
Develop, modify, and maintain embedded operational flight programs using software development best practices and standards. Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements development, modeling and design, unit to CSCI testing, integration, formal system testing, release, installation, and maintenance. Provide leadership in solving complex problems. Interact with Program Management, external suppliers, and government customers; strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are essential. Basic Qualifications
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field; or equivalent. Experience: 8+ years with B.S., 6+ years with M.S., or 4+ years with Ph.D. in direct relevant work. Proficiency in C/C++/Ada or other OOP languages. Proficiency in the full formal software lifecycle process from requirements to testing. Working knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW) principles. Highly motivated self-starters; able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must currently hold and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with developing OFPs for real-time embedded operating systems (VxWorks, pSOS). Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams. Experience with Agile software development. Experience interfacing with customers and/or stakeholders. Experience with digital signal processing and radar principles. Experience programming in Ada. Experience deriving software design and test specifications from system requirements. Experience using Jira, Bitbucket, or Git. Active Secret security clearance. Additional Information
Primary salary range: $118,600.00 – $178,000.00. Salaries are influenced by factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Benefits include health, life and disability insurance, savings plans, paid holidays, and PTO. Bonuses and long-term incentives may apply depending on position and performance.
