Overview
Delivery Consultant - Application Architect, WWPS ProServe. The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a skilled Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customers' technical requirements and business objectives. You will drive customer success through the cloud journey, provide technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle, and architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer’s needs. You will gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, propose migration strategies to AWS, and lead the implementation process while ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks. The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team that helps customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives and deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices. Responsibilities
Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience, including cloud-based solution experience 5+ years of external or internal customer-facing, large-scale project management experience in cloud architecture and implementation Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph Preferred Qualifications
AWS experience with proficiency in EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python) Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking Experience working within software development About AWS and Inclusion
