The Machinist will be responsible for programming, setup and operation of CNC mills. Experience with Haas EC 400 and Haas UMC 750 is a must. Responsibilities
Mastercam programming of machines Operate controls and functions of CNC Mills (HAAS EC 400/HAAS UMC 750) Set up CNC machines and machine parts to customer specifications Run multiple machines as needed; monitor feed and speed during machining Troubleshoot loading/unloading of parts Read blueprints/drawings to determine specifications and dimensions Inspect parts per print Clean and maintain machining equipment Ensure all work orders are signed off and inspections are complete Promote a positive team environment by following company and safety policies Follow grooming and dress standards; project a favorable image of the organization Keep Department Lead informed of problems or unusual matters Perform duties timely and efficiently according to policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by Department Lead or Management Operate forklift or other powered equipment and maintain certification Load/unload materials, move items as needed, and maintain inventory Keep work areas clean Required Skills/Abilities
Mastercam programming Haas EC 400 and Haas UMC 750 Maintain basic logs and records Ability to follow a sequence of instructions with limited supervision Professional and courteous conduct Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Education and Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in Metal Fabrication Forklift certification Ability to read and interpret English-language safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Pay and Benefits
Pay: $35/hr - $45/hr (Programmer and Setup experience) Base compensation based on experience Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Vacation, Sick Leave, Paid Birthday, Life Insurance Company events Other
