Overview

Senior ProServe Cloud Architect, WWPS at Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ProServe Cloud Architect (PCA) works with customers to understand technical requirements and business objectives, designing and implementing tailored cloud solutions. Serves as a key pre-sales technical expert guiding the customer cloud journey. Responsibilities

Design complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions to deliver customer business outcomes (CBOs). Provide technical guidance and best practices during pre-sales and implementation phases. Collaborate with Account Managers and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable. Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies. Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts and processes. About the Team

The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team helps customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network to execute enterprise cloud initiatives and deliver focused guidance through global specialty practices. Location and Work Arrangement

It is expected to work from one of the listed locations (or customer sites) at least 1+ day per week. This is not a remote position; you may be in the office or with customers as needed. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, designing and implementing cloud solutions. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications

Advanced technology degree or AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred. Deep understanding of AWS services across compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies. Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). Expertise in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences as part of pre-sales motion. Company and Diversity
