As an
Attorney III , you’ll: Handle
complex, high-stakes cases
in criminal and civil matters (adult, juvenile, and ITA). Represent clients at every stage: from arraignment to appeals. Mentor and guide other attorneys with
lead or limited supervisory responsibilities . Shape trial strategy, negotiate effectively, and defend constitutional rights every single day. Step into leadership within a supportive and collaborative office culture. This position is ideal for seasoned litigators who want to blend

lead and mentor others. Pay & Benefits
Annual Pay Range: $126,184 – $142,104 (Steps 1–7) Hiring Range (Depending on Qualifications): $126,184 – $133,908 (Steps 1–4) Plus, you’ll receive a full benefits package and enjoy a career where your

Minimum of 8 years law practice experience Strong record of
jury trial and courtroom work
(Juvenile and/or Superior Court) Admission to the
Washington State Bar
and eligibility to practice before the
Washington Supreme Court Proven ability to independently handle contested trial matters Required: Background check (including fingerprinting) Valid Washington State driver’s license and proof of insurance Why Yakima County?
