The Director, Human Resources is responsible for providing strategic, hands-on support to lead the HR function across Cambria’s manufacturing, distribution, fabrication and mining locations throughout the US and Canada. Areas of support include strategic HR leadership, employee relations, communications, talent management, leadership development, change management, compliance, workforce planning, benefits administration and HR training. The candidate must have experience in leading human resources teams, build trusting relationships, use critical thinking and effective communication and be skilled at advancing people related practices in a fast growth, entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities:

Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals, enabling sustainable growth and high-impact results Leverage market insights, financial acumen, and competitive intelligence to guide strategic decisions Translate business needs into HR strategies focused on organization design, workforce agility, and succession planning Build trusted relationships with senior executives through strategic counsel, influence, and execution Partner cross-functionally to deploy impactful learning and retention strategies Develop and lead HR initiatives, such as building and deploying HR training content, compensation systems, performance management processes, policy development/deployment, and other assigned strategic projects Lead investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions in compliance with company policies and labor laws Effectively lead HR staff to support all aspects of business partnership and employee relations Collaborate closely with varying levels of leadership for employee management, employee relations and efficient tools for managers to effectively manage the workforce Oversee performance management process across assigned business units to ensure clear communication of goals, feedback, and development plans enabling employees to perform effectively Embrace digital tools to simplify HR workflows and enhance the employee experience Drive HR innovation in a fast-paced, highly innovative environment Promote data-driven decision-making across all HR activities Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations (EEO, FMLA, FLSA, etc.) Partner with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risk and ensure consistency in employee practices Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field, MBA desired Experience: Minimum of 10 years of Human Resources business partnership and 5 years of HR leadership experience. Preferably in a multi-state, manufacturing environment Systems: Google Suite and Microsoft Office, HR Information Systems such as Workday or Ceridian Dayforce Significant demonstrated experience leading HR teams in a multi-state and diverse role workforce, preferably in a manufacturing company Very strong collaborator and communicator that includes superior listening and facilitation skills Demonstrated expertise in workforce planning, organizational development, and change leadership Aptitude to meet commitments and deadlines, and work collaboratively as required Proven business acumen and ability to influence at all organizational levels, including executive leadership Strong analytical mind focused on facts and problem-solving Well-developed skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, planning, organization and execution Proven ability to build trust and lead change in fast-paced, high energy environment Highly organized with the ability to handle many priorities simultaneously Handles change well, self-motivated and stays focused under pressure Results-oriented, including a strong sense of urgency Strong computer skills are required, including skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite Cambria offers a competitive benefits package that encompasses Health and Dental Insurance, Paid Time Off, 7 paid Holidays , 401(k) plus matching, Discretionary Profit Sharing, Flexible Spending Account; Life, Supplemental Life, and Disability Insurance; Referral Program, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Employee Discount and Professional Development Assistance.
